As an artist myself, I have a huge passion for Lucille Ball art pieces. Many of the illustrations below are original art renderings. A few of the pieces have been done personally for me by an incredible artist in Australia. There is even a piece that was done by a gentleman in prison. A very recent and exciting addition, an original oil painting of Desi Arnaz with the conga drum. There has great significance because not only was it done to be used as the cover art for the Babalu set of RCA Victor 45inch records, but it later hung in Lucy and Desi's home. Just recently, I had this oil painting framed and matted and oddly enough, the frame I found (at a flea market for $7!) turned out to be a hand guilded, 24kt gold frame from the 1870's. It now sits on a wooden easle in my home. The pieces range from 8 x 10 to 24 x 36. Whenever I am in search of Lucille Ball treasures, my eyes are always drawn to an original art piece and they are always so beautiful when they are framed and displayed on the walls. I hope you find as much enjoyment out of these pieces as I do.
